We are excited to announce that our latest version is now live, packed with useful updates and enhancements to improve how you manage your web apps and APIs.

New Single Calculation Endpoint via API Toolkit

In September, we introduced a simplified single-calculation API endpoint designed for easier integration with universal API connectors on various no-code platforms. In this release, we’ve made this endpoint accessible through our API Toolkit. You can now configure Excel inputs and outputs, test them, and copy the JSON structure directly from the toolkit. This improves the process of integrating SpreadsheetWeb API applications with external platforms.

Enhanced Debugging Tools

We’ve improved error messages in the Designer interface to help developers quickly identify and resolve issues. Error messages are now linked to the corresponding controls—just click on the error, and you’ll be taken directly to the problematic control in the Designer. These enhancements will save time and make the development process smoother for SpreadsheetWeb developers.

Support for New Excel Formula: TRIMRANGE

Microsoft recently introduced the TRIMRANGE formula (currently in beta), which excludes empty rows and columns from the edges of a range or array. Additionally, new trim references like “.:.”, “:.”, and “.:” offer similar functionality. We’re pleased to announce that this release supports both TRIMRANGE and these trim references, giving you access to this powerful functionality in your applications.

Additional Features and Improvements

This release also includes several other enhancements, such as:

  • Dynamic header and footer naming in panel-style sections and containers.
  • Alignment support in form-based grid controls.
  • The ability to download Excel templates from the Excel Export event.
