The May 2026 release introduces several new productivity and content management enhancements to SpreadsheetWeb Hub. This update focuses on improving application authoring, simplifying content publishing, and reducing repetitive setup work across applications.

Markdown Pages

This release introduces Markdown Pages, a new way to create rich content pages directly inside SpreadsheetWeb applications.

Markdown Pages provide a focused writing experience with a live preview editor, making it easier to create formatted content such as documentation, onboarding instructions, landing pages, announcements, or internal guides. Once published, these pages become clean, responsive application pages that users can navigate to directly within the application.

Markdown Pages can also be configured as the home page of an application, allowing developers to create more polished user experiences without relying on external content systems.

This feature opens the door for building more complete application experiences inside SpreadsheetWeb, combining spreadsheet-powered functionality with modern content presentation.

Major Markdown Editor Improvements

The Markdown editor has received a substantial upgrade with several new capabilities designed to make page authoring more flexible and visually engaging.

You can now insert both regular and stacked icons directly into Markdown content, making it easier to create visually rich navigation menus, feature lists, alerts, and callouts.

Internal page linking has also been added, allowing you to create navigable connections between Markdown Pages within the same application. This makes it possible to build structured multi-page experiences such as help centers, onboarding flows, or documentation hubs.

In addition, uploaded images and carousel images are now automatically persisted back into the editor content. Previously, managing image references inside Markdown content could require additional manual handling. This improvement streamlines the editing workflow and makes content management significantly more reliable.

Together, these enhancements make the Markdown editor a much more capable content authoring environment inside SpreadsheetWeb.

Duplication Actions Across Application Components

To help reduce repetitive configuration work, SpreadsheetWeb now supports duplication actions for several major application components.

You can now duplicate:

  • Pages
  • Print Processes
  • Excel Exports
  • Email Processes
  • Scripts
  • Stylesheets

This feature allows developers to quickly create new components based on existing configurations rather than rebuilding them from scratch. It is especially useful for applications with similar workflows, multiple document templates, or repeated automation patterns.

By enabling rapid reuse of existing components, duplication actions help accelerate development and improve consistency across applications.

As always, this release also includes various stability improvements, usability refinements, and internal optimizations across the platform.
