In our latest SpreadsheetWeb release, we've placed special emphasis on enhancing user interface (UI) features to improve the overall user experience. Let's dive into some of the exciting updates!
Enhanced Grid Controls
We've introduced significant improvements to grid controls, providing more flexibility and visual clarity. You can now choose from six distinct visual styles to customize your grids, tailoring their look and feel to better align with your application’s design.
Additionally, we've added functionality to set a uniform background color for all input or editable cells within grids. This new feature helps users easily distinguish input fields from non-editable data, greatly improving data entry accuracy and user productivity.
New Slider and File Upload Types
To further enrich UI interactions, we’ve expanded customization options for slider and file upload controls. Sliders now offer a new option called Plus Minus style for precise adjustments.
File upload controls have also received attention, allowing users to choose between Standard, Image, and Styled Button formats.
Compact UI Mode
Recognizing the challenge of managing applications crowded with numerous controls, we introduced a new "Compact Mode." When activated, this feature reduces spacing between all controls across the application, creating a more compact visual layout. This is particularly beneficial in complex applications, helping to optimize screen space and enhancing user navigation.
Application-Wide Background Color Customization
Finally, we've made it easier to maintain consistency across your application by allowing designers to set a global background color. This ensures cohesive branding and a uniform look throughout your application, easily managed through our intuitive color picker or by directly entering RGBA color codes.
