Newton, MA, August 16, 2021 – Pagos has just announced SpreadsheetWeb 6.24 version. This version welcomes the addition of the new Goal Seek event, as well as the Zoho and Close CRM integrations.

Goal seek is a popular what-if analysis method, where a system calculates backward to find an input that satisfies a specific outcome. This method is frequently used in analysis and optimization problems.

With the 6.24 version, SpreadsheetWeb introduces a new application runtime event that can perform a goal seek calculation with set parameters. The maximum number of iterations the system will perform, and the precision of the calculation are defined from inside the event settings, whereas the formula and the input fields can be bound to named ranges in the underlying workbook. This new feature enables users to run what-if scenarios on their web application without having to write any code.

Excel is the preferred platform for many sales teams when it comes to pricing and quoting. By integrating spreadsheet calculations into CRM systems, sales teams can utilize their Excel models from the same location where they control customer acquisition pipeline. Through these integrations, SpreadsheetWeb streamlines the Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) process. Version 6.24 introduces the new Close and Zoho CRM integrations.

“Many businesses use Excel for CPQ process, and SpreadsheetWeb is the natural next step for moving these processes online. The CPQ process is crucial for customer acquisition, we believe that we can remove the friction in the customer pipeline by allowing our users to access their sophisticated tools directly from inside their CRM platform.” says Ugur Kadakal, CEO of Pagos, and adds: “We have been focusing on further expanding third-party integrations, especially with CRM platforms. We hope that our users just as excited to use their Excel-based rating and quoting tools directly on their CRM boards without any additional coding”.
